Organization Profile: Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City Chittoor (IIITS) was established by the government of India as an Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament in PPP model along with the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Industry Partners-Sri City Foundation and Sri City Pvt. Limited. IIITS is uniquely located in a decade-old state of the art industrial city, called Sri City (www.sricity.in), located about 55 km north of Chennai. Sri City is spread over 8000 acres encompassing a multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Domestic Tariff Zone (DTZ), Free Trade & Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) and Electronics Manufacturing Cluster. Sri City is hosting over 175 companies from 27 countries. The institute presently offers UG programmes in two disciplines- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).

Qualification:
- Master’s Degree (PhD Preferred) in English with good academic record from a CFTI or an
equally reputed national or overseas university along with minimum of 1 year of relevant
teaching experience in CFTI/ Institution of National Importance or equally reputed institution. Teaching experience from technical institution is preferred. - Excellent language and communication skills
- Ability to mentor and help students who come from rural background.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and good interpersonal relationship skills.
Pay Scale:
- The Competent Authority of IIIT Sri City Chittoor may decide suitable norms for shortlisting of candidates.
- The salary shall be in the range of Rs. 50,000-70,000 (Consolidated), as per the recommendations of the selection committee. Lecturers (On Contract) are not eligible for
any other benefits.
